Position Summary:
Axel Dance Academy is a dance studio housed inside of the YMCA. Our goal is to create a loving environment for our dancers. We offer both competitive and recreational dance. The position would be Monday evenings in Fall River and weeknights in Swansea. Earn $16-$19/hour based on experience.
Essential Functions:
- Demonstrates proper technique and routines for class participation.
- Strong instructing skills that can help implement a strong program.
- Experienced and knowledge for dance including the ability to choreograph
- Strong classroom management
- Identify and address participant safety concerns

Qualifications:
- Multi-genre preferred (ballet, jazz, tap, acro, contemporary, pointe) etc.
- Must enjoy working with children ages 2 and older, beginner through advanced levels.
- Available to work Monday to Saturday for the 2024-2025 season that runs September to June
Physical Demands:
- Required to physically perform and communicate exercise routines
- Ability to react to emergency situations by quick movements
Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
